With more than 16 years of ski teaching experience spanning Europe, Andorra and the U.S.A., Gavin holds the highest B.A.S.I. (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) qualification - the International Ski Teacher Diploma - and works for B.A.S.I. as an Alpine Trainer and examiner of aspiring instructors.
Based in Serre Chevalier (Hautes-Alpes - France), Gavin offers inspiring ski coaching to skiers of all levels.
Under Gavin's direction, complete novices, recreational skiers who've reached a plateau, keen skiers seeking high performance training, and instructors wanting to advance to the elite level, will each benefit from his ability to inspire, motivate and improve while skiing the mountain.
The last two winters have witnessed more and more clients with a desire for personal coaching rather than group lessons. In many resorts, this format of coaching can be prohibitive in terms of cost, so for the 2007/08 winter season, Gavin has put together a program of reduced-price personal coaching options as well as group courses, both of which focus on small numbers of skiers and longer sessions.
