New for winter 2008/09 - calling families and small groups of
friends looking for space, indoors and out! Snowgums' apartments
have been kitted out with real care by their resident owner and
her young daughter who live on the first floor of this traditional
village farmhouse. Plus - very rare to come by - is the in-house
childcare for babies and young children provided by Snowgums.
The
house has two apartments for holiday lets. This one - Apartment
One - is situated next to the house's gardens and features
a traditional beamed ceiling and wooden floor. It has everything
you need whether you're a small family with grandparents tagging
along, or a group of up to six friends (four sleeping in the bedroom
and two sleeping on a sofa-bed in the lounge - with ample space
to move when it's in 'bed-mode'!)
Snowgums'
apartments are situated in a small village just two minutes drive
from the heart of Serre Chevalier (Chantemerle) or a free ski-bus
ride (bus-stop is 200 metres from your door).
The
apartments offer a quiet location for families (with a large,
very safe and secluded garden), and ample space and convenience
for groups (of up to ten people when both apartments are booked).
"I'm thinking spring-skiing in the mornings and sunny BBQs
late-afternoon - in the half-acre walled garden!"
A
large, shared, drying-room is on the ground floor of the house,
easily accessible from the apartment and perfect for changing
out of wet gear and warming your ski boots!

STOP PRESS *
The
beautiful Cité Vauban (the old town of Briançon),
a short drive from the apartment, is now a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. Why not eat in one of the town's great restaurants e.g.
Lou Grand Caire, or Le Passé Simple, after a leisurely
walk around the fortifications and the magnificent Collegiale
church? During the day, the main cobbled street provides entertainment
and a multitude of shops for non-skiers.
