The owner of ’Aline’ has created a typically alpine-style apartment which is full of French charm and extremely well-equipped. Winter guests, walkers, hikers and mountain-bikers will enjoy the proximity to the lifts (this being the nearest apartment to the pistes out of all the apartments in Serre Chevalier 1500 that I offer, just 100 metres or so on foot!) It is just one of our spa properties on the popular Chalets de la Chamoissière residence.
There are three twin/double bedrooms so lots of flexibility for different groups. One has an ensuite bathroom with shower and sink. The apartment sleeps up to six people very comfortably.
The family bathroom has a full-size bath, heated floor, heated towel rail and wall-mounted hair dryer. There’s an independent WC next to the apartment entrance.
A spacious living and dining area with open-fireplace welcomes you upon entering the apartment. The emphasis is on open-plan living, with a functional kitchen to one side (overlooking the dining area). A large TV and a DVD player will satisfy guests eager for home entertainment whilst the direct access to the sunny terrace and garden with sun-deckchairs and table furniture (summer and winter) provides a great space for taking it easy outdoors.
The property has a ski room and private locker, a private parking space and a garage which is fantastic for keeping the snow off the car (no need to dig it out of the snow either) or storing bikes in summer!
Also within 100 metres is an equipment hire shop (20% discount), slope-side restaurant, British-run ski school New Generation and lift-pass offices, plus safe areas for children to sledge, play and generally have heaps of fun!
Walk within 350 metres for all the village amenities; no less than eleven restaurants at last count, a brilliant butchers, patisseries, handy supermarket, newsagents, bars, equipment hire and sports shops, museums, alpine gift stores, …
We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.
The outdoor heated pool is open every day 10:00 – 20:00 (summer) and 17:00 – 20:00 (winter). The sauna and hammam are open every day 17:00 – 20:00. Please note that between 18 May – 16 June 2013 and early December 2013, they are open weekends only. Annual closure between 16 September – 7 December 2013.

The beautiful Cité Vauban (the old town of Briançon), a short drive from the apartment, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will happily book one of its restaurants for you e.g. La Gavroche, or Le Passé Simple. You can walk leisurely around the fortifications and the magnificent Collegiale church and, during the day, the main cobbled street provides entertainment and a multitude of shops and cafés.
