Rochebrune… a peak at 3320 metres altitude which can be reached without technical difficulty in seven hours or so. It is the view far beyond Serre Chevalier valley that you will see when standing in this stunning apartment. Sit on the sunny balcony and admire the view – look right and you can watch the skiers making their ascents and descents in winter!

This is the largest of our ski and spa properties on the Chalets de la Chamoissière residence – one of the newest properties in Le Monêtier les Bains, Serre Chevalier 1500.

Located in one of five luxury chalets right at the foot of the pistes, give or take 150 metres, Rochebrune is a fabulous two-floor apartment for up to ten people (preferably eight). You’re on the top two floors of a chalet residence that boasts its own outdoor heated pool, sauna and hammam (open every evening in winter, all day every day in summer, and weekends out of season.

Enter the apartment and you’ll find a relaxing and comfortable living space that offers kitchen, dining area and two lounge areas – one with a fire place and access to the balcony and one which we call the ‘snug’ (can also be used as a fourth bedroom if necessary). Relax with family and friends in front of the fire. Watch a DVD in the ‘snug’ – it’s your home from home for your holiday.

Also on the lower floor is a double bedroom with balcony and views of the south-facing mountains, plus a family bathroom.

Take the stairs up to the top floor of the chalet. Here you’ll find a double bedroom with velux, a shower room and a large bedroom (great as a children’s ‘den’) which has two singles and a ‘gigogne’ bed which can be set up as a double or two singles. This room also has a small balcony.

Rochebrune is ideal for two families, a large family perhaps with grandparents coming along too or a few couples.

The private spa for residents includes an outdoor heated pool with indoor and outdoor sunloungers, relaxation room, hammam, sauna and private changing room. This is the perfect retreat for skiers and non-skiers alike!

Also within 150 metres is an equipment hire shop (20% discount), slope-side restaurant, British-run ski school New Generation and lift-pass offices, plus safe areas for children to sledge, play and generally have heaps of fun!

Walk within 350 metres for all the village amenities; no less than eleven restaurants at last count, a brilliant butchers, patisseries, handy supermarket, newsagents, bars, equipment hire and sports shops, museums, alpine gift stores, …

We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

The outdoor heated pool is open every day 10:00 – 20:00 (summer) and 17:00 – 20:00 (winter). The sauna and hammam are open every day 17:00 – 20:00. Please note that between 18 May – 16 June 2013 and early December 2013, they are open weekends only. Annual closure between 16 September – 7 December 2013.
